Brittany Borden, MA, MPA
Special Assistant
DBHIDS
Borden is the Special Assistant to the Commissioner at DBHIDS. In this role, she is involved in activities that support the Commissioner in planning, developing and implementing strategy for advancing policy, providing strategic analysis, research, and innovative strategies.
Borden comes from a varied background with prior work experience as a researcher for a Senior Member of Parliament in London, three years of grassroots organizing on federal and local electoral campaigns, and work within the Federal Government in the Office of the Chief Human Component Officer for the Federal Emergency Agency, as well as the office of the Assistant City Manager of West Whiteland Township, PA. Her credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Economics, with a concentration in Middle Eastern and North African studies from Washington College, a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Villanova University, and a Masters of Public Administration degree with a certificate in Public Finance from the Fels Institute of Government, University of Pennsylvania.
Borden is active in many fitness, service and spiritual organizations and has and continues to serve in positions of leadership on boards and advisory committees.
